Schedule a Discovery CallBuilding a home is more than construction — it’s creating the place where your story begins. As an experienced custom home builder serving Martinsburg and Berkeley County, we turn your ideas into beautiful, functional, lasting reality, whether it’s your first new home or your forever property.
We live, work, and raise our families in the Eastern Panhandle. That means local knowledge you can build on — and a builder who’s still here long after the keys are handed over.
Berkeley County is one of West Virginia’s fastest-growing places to put down roots — and for good reason. Martinsburg sits right on the I-81 corridor with MARC commuter rail service toward Washington, D.C., putting big-city work within reach of small-city living.
Build here and you can choose between established neighborhoods, new communities, or open acreage just minutes from town. Whatever the lot, we handle the site realities — grading, wells and septic where city utilities don’t reach, and Berkeley County permitting — so your build starts on solid footing.
Talk About Your LandWe’re lifelong locals building in the same communities where we live — your county’s permitting, land, and neighborhoods are home turf.

Most TrueNorth builds take roughly a year from first design meeting to final walkthrough. Design, selections, and Berkeley County permitting come first; framing typically takes 1–2 months, followed by several months of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and finish work — with inspections and in-house quality checks at every stage.
Yes — most of our clients build on land they already own or are about to purchase. We evaluate access, grading, and utilities up front, and where city services don’t reach we design and permit well and septic systems as part of pre-construction, so there are no surprises after contract.
We manage building, septic, and land-disturbance permits with Berkeley County, and review home and landscape plans for HOA compliance where applicable. It’s all part of our pre-construction phase — nothing lands on your plate.
Our signature plans range from $399,900 to $819,900+ in base price, depending on the plan, your selections, and site conditions. We define selections and allowances before you sign, so your budget is transparent from day one — see each plan’s page for current starting prices.
Almost always. Many of our plans — like The Margaret, The Cambridge, and The Eleanor — are designed with optional bonus suites and full unfinished basements, and as a custom builder we can adapt nearly any plan to add the space your family needs.
Your dream home starts with a simple conversation about your land, timeline, and budget. We’ll guide you from there.
